Ecology Enviro Justice Assessment - Wood stove standards

Ecology is conducting an Environmental Justice Assessment to inform the development of agency request legislation. The agency request legislation would allow Ecology to review and verify the results of required EPA tests for wood stoves. It would also direct us to keep Washington’s standards aligned with the latest national standards. We are requesting information about the potential impacts to overburdened communities and vulnerable populations, and strategies to mitigate identified harms and fairly distribute known benefits.
