Fruit Packing Industry Training Poll

Ecology will also be providing training in the spring of 2026 (likely late April) for the new electronically submitted applications for renewal that will be required to be used in May of 2026.


In the past training of this type were usually held in person at two locations (Union Gap Ecology Office and then somewhere in Wenatchee, WA the next day). For training in 2026, proposed changes to the renewed general permit will also be discussed.


Please respond to the polling questions concerning training for the Fresh Fruit Packing Industry. This is a statewide Fruit Packing Industry poll, not just facilities in one Ecology region.


If you have additional narrative comments that the poll does not address, please contact Marcia Porter at marcia.porter@ecy.wa.gov and your comments will be included in the poll results for Ecology to determine training goals for the Fresh Fruit Packing General Permit.
