Malaga Cooling Water Disposal Facility

We invite you to comment on availability of State Waste Discharge Permit Application for Malaga Cooling Water Disposal Facility, Permit No. ST0501376.


The application may be viewed at the Department of Ecology (Department) website: https://apps.ecology.wa.gov/paris/FacilitySummary.aspx?FacilityId=100002601.


Following evaluation of the application and other available information, a draft permit will be developed which would allow the discharge of Noncontact Cooling Water with Additives to ground by land treatment from its facility located on Malaga Alcoa Highway, Malaga WA.   All discharges to be in compliance with the Department of Ecology's Water Quality Standards for a permit to be issued.
